Nice, oceanfront, 4Br/4 bath, 3100 sq.ft., home in the West Beach village. The first floor has the living room, dining room, kitchen, screened porch, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The living room has high ceilings, a tv,vcr,dvd player, and a fireplace. The large, screened in porch is off of the living room and has a lovely view of the ocean. The upstairs has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a balcony area that overlooks the living room. All of the bedrooms have queen size beds and private bathrooms. The private boardwalk to the beach is right off the back porch. No-smoking.

The house is great for a family vacation. It offers four bedrooms and each has its own bathroom. The layout is perfect and the location is private. The view from the deck and landing is outstanding. The house isn't new and needs a little updating. The house needs new carpet. We did have ants and some bugs, but Pam Harrington took care of this immediately. They were very responsive to our needs. The few problems wouldn't keep up from coming back and renting this house, but it would make the overall experience that much better. Overall, the house is one of the best beachfront locations on the island.

We had a delightful week in this house. It is spacious and comfortable and an easy walk to the beach. The double ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, etc. in the kitchen make it an easy home to cook and eat in. The screened porch is a wonderful place for
mornings. The deck is delightful for cocktails. The owner's endless notes and instructions are helpful when they are not irritating:) We would stay there again!

We've been coming to Kiawah for nearly 25 years now and have rented in Duneside and Oceanwoods. Our favorite location over the years has been Oceanwoods. This was the first year we rented a house on the ocean and we are sold. Next year, we are going to try for the same thing and would love to have 53 Eugenia again if it is available the week of May 28 through June 4.
Great location, house well appointed with all the critical items. Living space could use a refresh. Absolutely beautiful location!

The location was ideal--we were 2 families with 2 toddlers and 2 infants, and the house was exactly what we were seeking.The property manager was very responsive to our concern that the gas grill was unserviceable--we got a new gas grill delivered that same day. The beachfront location could not have been more perfect. The kitchen set-up (2 dishwashers/fridges/sinks) was great for the number of people there. The appliances were in great condition. Some negative aspects: The phone (land line) had a spotty connection, and we could not receive incoming calls. The living room furniture was slightly shabby, but it was what I would expect for a beach house (lots of salt/sand exposure). Again, the best part was the location: safe, quiet, and on the beach! We would stay at the same place in a heartbeat, and I recommend it without reservation.

We have used Beachwalker in the past but prefer the cleanliness of Pam Harrington properties. We have been coming to Kiawah for around twenty years and will continue to do so. We enjoy the spacious kitchen and round eating table in this home. This property owner is compulsive- perhaps one sheet of household "rules" would make opening cabinets more pleasant :) However we do like the house and location so it will continue to be on our future priority list.

This was our 4th year at 53 Eugenia. The location is unbeatable and the house has plenty of room for our family of 8. Definitely needs some maintenance - in particular to the roof as water stains are visible on the ceiling. PHE staff are very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed another great vacation on Kiawah.
