Very nice 5br/3.5 bath, 2550 sq.ft. home in Vanderhorst Plantation. This home is across the street from the beach and has lagoon views. The downstairs is very open and bright. The living room has a fireplace, flat screen tv, dvd player, vcr and exits to the screened in porch, decks, and private pool. The newly renovated kitchen is gorgeous and has all the upgrades. The master bedroom is on the first floor with a queen size bed and a private bath. The other four bedrooms are on the second floor and share the other two baths. One of those bedrooms has a queen size bed and the others have two twins each. GRILL/INTERNET No Smoking

The home was very comfortable, clean, and close to beach. We had some bugs but the monthly service came to spray and it seemed to help. Realty company was very responsive to inquiries.

We have enjoyed this house for four years. The owners have started to improve on some of the home's features and they were most welcome. A word of caution on the refrigerator - it is not cooling satisfactorily on the next-to-the-highest setting. It may be getting ready to quit. The beds with footboards are restrictive for three of our 6-foot plus guests. We use all the bedrooms so it isn't possible nor feasible to parcel out one bed per person - so that they might stretch out. All-in-all, we enjoy 17 Surfsong.

Kiawah is a perfect location for our family to come in from the remaining three sides of the compass to join us for Thanksgiving.
